What will people experience there?

Well, you know, this is our third annual Dia de Muertos concert, and it's really, it's been a revelation to me.

I mean, I wondered about whether this was going to work.

I mean, we do, of course, have a kind of a broadly spread Latino population.

We don't have a huge Mexican-specific population in this part of the country.

And I was amazed by the enthusiasm with which it was greeted.

It really became kind of like a pan-Latin and beyond celebration.

But how do you feel about being in this moment and what the organization has come through?

You guys have an absolutely loaded calendar for the spring.

We do.

We start this Friday on May 8th, and we run for five straight weeks, and I think it's a great season.

We've got a lot of really interesting stuff coming through Symphony Hall.
