So can you just take us back to the beginning of when you first got involved with Achilles and just tell that story? How did you become involved? Uh, what was it like initially, and where, where are you now?

Keith HodderGUEST
Well, prior to me joining Achilles, um, I was an avid walker, basically around my neighborhood with my cane doing, you know, three-mile walks three to five days a week.

Keith HodderGUEST
I go to a low vision support group, and one of the guest speakers happened to have been Erin.

Keith HodderGUEST
And when she was speaking about Achilles, I said to myself, "Wow, this is something I can do." And within three month, I had joined Achilles.

Keith HodderGUEST
My vision is, um, basically hand movement, but I do see some, some things out there.

Keith HodderGUEST
So Achilles actually train the athletes how to participate, whether they walk, run, roll.

Keith HodderGUEST
Uh, my goal at the beginning was to basically fast walk, and I started training for fast walking, and I would with a guide.

Keith, when you were matched with your first guide, can you talk about the process of that and anything that may have changed or stayed the same since then? What was it like training with another person?
