So tell us about your story.
2:29
Sure.
2:31
So I like to say, Debra, that I have had this blessed, oh, it's closing in on 44, 45-year career.
2:39
And I started in the traditional clinical world.
2:43
By schooling, I'm a licensed clinical social worker here in New York.
2:46
And pretty quickly, I started actually in the world of addiction was where the career started.
2:54
And kept my fingers in that a little bit through the years, but quickly, quickly, quickly jumped into creating a family therapy practice.

Right.
6:43
What changes now when you're working with clients? How do you kind of leverage this conversational intelligence to help them get better results, you know, in less time, easier?
6:55
So let me answer that in the world of family-owned businesses.
7:01
Working with family-owned businesses is an amazing, an absolutely amazing, complex experience.
7:10
Because think about this.
7:11
So, you know, we have four or five family members sitting around a table, right? who at the same time that they are family with all of the history and legacy and issues that sometimes come with just being family members, they also have to engage in good business practices.
7:31
And the intersection of those two experiences is, as I said, pretty complex, pretty nuanced.
7:40
So to be able to, and so I get hired often in that world because people, have been told, I can help this family, this family business, have more productive, effective, trusting conversations that will both honor that we are family and and honor good business practices.

So if you can illustrate kind of what good looks like and what not so good looks like.
