like so many things in life, things sometimes don't necessarily always follow that same path that you might have set out for yourself.

But after working in sports for over 20 years, I got to a point in my career where I was at the pinnacle at the NFL Players Association.

I was the president of the for profit subsidiary of the NFL Players Association.

And I was doing these amazing experiences, ridiculously cool deals, surrounded by players and their family and in rooms where you'd only dream of being in.

And when I had a chance to stop and think about it, all of those things were great, but I really was doing those at the expense of spending time with my family.

I had young kids.
