What makes it so special and what exactly is it?

Community is so important when you get a diagnosis like this because it's overwhelming and you don't have to do it on your own.

So a community like this, you just have support every walk stages from children to adulthood.

It's just a great community to be involved in.

Who do you hope will come out for walk? Do you feel like people need to have a personal connection to T1D to participate?

I don't think you have to have a personal connection.

I mean, if you are just interested in learning more about what the organization does, that would be a great time to come out.

But if you do have a type one connection, definitely come out because you can meet so many new people.
