What would you say are the biggest things you'd love to see clients do or recognize
28:22
that's connected to that? So I think for me, there are three big pieces here.
28:28
So the first piece would be being cognizant of their physical and physiological health.
28:33
And that means things like an appropriate diet, getting enough sleep, making sure that their GI tract is healthy, making sure that they're not in pain, understanding that pain doesn't always present in the same way that dogs don't have to limp and yelp in order to be in pain.
28:52
So I think that would be the first piece is, you know, Hopefully having caregivers be more aware of that sort of that really foundational piece of do I feel good in my body and do I feel healthy in my body? So that would be the first one.
29:08
The second thing would be if your dog is emotionally dysregulated, how do you help them re-regulate? And that, you know, I often talk about the stress bucket.
29:18
And if your dog's stress bucket is full, what do you do to help them drain that bucket and And, I mean, we talked earlier a little bit about, you know, what would be the human equivalent of some of those things.

8 MINS LATER

Like, which I find really interesting because if it's a referral for pain or something like that, massive anxiety your dog actually isn't your dog yet yes because it's literally being masked by this thing that's happening to it and actually if you can give it those meds i mean you know i know sometimes obviously it can knock them out but then you try a different one don't you but you can have you know who your dog really is you can uncover that and they can become who they really are
