How does packing shoeboxes become more than just a service project for the people who do that?

Well, because packing a shoebox is personal, right? The way and I appreciate the way that Samaritan's Purse and OCC sets us up for success in packing shoeboxes, right? As the general public, we'll just call us the general public for now.

they set you up for success by, by putting a lot of responsibility on you, really.

Like you're intentionally packing these boxes.

You've got an age, you've got a gender in mind, you've got, and they, you can put personal things in these boxes with sheet, you know, the coloring sheets they give you, the informational sheets telling these kids that are going to receive it a little bit about you.

It's personal.

And then you add in the layer of praying over the boxes, like really putting a, realizing that this, this physical thing that's in your hand is attached to a soul somewhere.

We want people to know Him and to make Him known, to go put... their faith into action i would love for you to commission families and give them a really simple next step so that they can leave this conversation and in the fall while they're planning the school year maybe a director listening they'll know what do i do next so that i can jump into action with operation christmas child
