How challenging was it making that decision?

Oh, it was very scary, actually.

And I think, again, it's what you said about putting a face on it, and I pretended it was okay.

But inside, it was tearing me up.

I went to the appointment with the gynecologist, and he said, right, we'll send you some bloods, we'll do scans.

The only way you can truly see if there's endo in you is by having the laparoscopy where they go in and they look.

But he said, look, we're going to do some scans anyway, and blah, blah, blah.

So what was it like when you realized something had gone slightly wrong? How did you deal with that mentally?
