So Catherine, tell us a little bit about where'd you grow up? How did you get into medicine?

So like Dr. Flick, I'm also from Cleveland.

I can actually pinpoint the moment that I decided this career was for me.

It was the summer between my junior and senior year of undergrad.

And I came home for the summer and I was looking for some exposure to medicine.

And I found an internship actually at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Reproductive Medicine.

And part of the internship was you had lectures in the morning and you did research in the afternoon.
