I think at the moment, a lot of parents may consider this when they've exhausted other options.

So as you said, they may have had a team of professionals, and I hear lots of parents say, "I stopped taking them to X professional because they wouldn't talk, and they'd just hide under the table or hide behind me." And, you know, they ended up coming to a play therapist as kind of, not a last option, but as another alternative because they'd tried a lot of things.

At the school I work at, really, we put it front foot forward.

Really, we're trying to enter relationships with families and children through play therapy first and foremost, and then we also may recommend or work as a team with other allied health professionals.
