Do you have any techniques for being creative and, in this world that seems so like anti-creativity and and it's all about productivity and posting and and fucking validation from getting likes and all all you know stuff that you've spoken about a lot in your work how do you like how do you stay creative in this world

yeah i think for me it's been really important to discern between work and the stuff that makes my soul, like, sing, you know? Because for me now, my full-time job is writer, performer, and also, like, teaching, like, workshops and things like that.

That's, you know, teaching the skills or giving people space to be creative.

And that's work, you know? That's me going online and me putting...

they graft into like finding readings and and talk to people and then also performing on stage like it's fun but it's work I have to travel I have to remember words I have to meet a promoter a manager I have to go into a green room I have to travel home you know that's not creatively fulfilling that's my job and um and even sometimes like if I have a commission you know I have to draft something I have to research it and and also posting online you know that's my online portfolio.

And sometimes I need to put stuff out on there so that people can know what I do.

You know, the only reason I've got a following is because I started posting and, and it seemed to be speaking some people's language and that that's meant that I've received way more opportunities.
