And when did you sort of realize that that's what it was?

I realized it when I saw the decline.

When he went from 20 to a 16 on the MMSE score, it got very real for me because what the doctor said to me at that appointment is, "Take where he is and mirror that over the next six months.

Individualize it." So wherever Anthony was six months ago and where he is now, that's his progression level.

And I was like, "Well, it can't be.

He's only 55." But that has come true.

And so it became very real for me when Anthony went out on disability and when I saw more symptoms and when he stopped driving in November of 2024.

does-That look like or what did that look like for you? Where was the change in intimacy with you and your husband? And I'm assuming as you're talking about his progression, there's a grieving process to that relationship fundamentally changing.
