And then how did that lead from you going from kind of this legislative work to going into private practice?

I'm blessed to have had not only mentors, but sponsors.

And most of them were women, not of color, but of women.

And honestly, I listened to people who I trusted.

So when I was with the Ways and Means Committee, the director of that committee at the time said, hey, there's an opening at this health care commission.

It's a governmental health care commission.

They're looking for their first GC, and they want someone who does regulation.

How has that, you've talked about a bit, how it's been important for your career, but how, particularly as I keep making you come to the end of your career, how do you view that now that you're really in a position to promote others in their career?
