I come from Kingcome Inlet in Gilford Island.

I'm Kwakwaka'wakw.

We are residing on the northern part of Vancouver Island, so we're really grateful Chelsea comes all this way and, um, keeps her connection with our school.

Um, I've been a special education assistant for 20 years.

This is my 20th year in education.

Uh, so let's hear a little bit more about the, the work setting in which you work, and Cara, we'll let you set the stage, uh, from your perspective there.
