Can you get us started with your stitch story? Where does your stitch story begin?

Um, it begins by accident is what I say.

So I've been painting since I was 12.

Um, I will be 39 this year, so it's been a while.

But when I know how to do something in a efficient way, I try to find other materials that convey different messaging.

So I went from painting to photography to ceramics to printmaking to collaging.

And eventually, a piece of string fell on one of my collages, my cityscapes, and I was like, "Oh, that's kinda interesting." Like, now it becomes something that's three-dimensional, but also there's so much symbolism in just a piece of string.

Right.
