And I'd love to know what inspired your interest in dance education and research.

When I was at university doing my bachelor's degree in dance, they talked about dance research.

And I was like, that sounds really interesting, but I have no idea what that means.

And I didn't know as a young dancer, it was actually quite rare to go to university and study dance.

I didn't know that you could do that until I had a teacher who was studying dance at university.

And I was like, wow, that sounds awesome.

Because I was really academically minded as well as... loved dance to the nth degree.

How would you define talent in dance?
