Talk to me about the online education journey where you were launching the elite nurse practitioner program.
7:24
Yeah.
7:25
So, um, so I took my, you know, my, my skills, my knowledge, my information.
7:29
I said, "Okay, how can I leverage this?" So I, uh, I started a blog, basically.
7:34
It just started off as a blog.
7:35
That's it, you know.
7:36
2019, I think is when the...
9:28
... "I'm gonna take this to yet another level, and I'm gonna teach other people how to do the same thing?"
2:52
H- how did you get into that?
2:55
Yeah.
2:56
Um, well, to let everyone know, first off, uh, I am a nurse practitioner, so I'm not a chiropractor, but, uh, what I teach is applicable to really any kind of medical professionals.
3:04
It doesn't really matter, uh, what type you are, but it's, uh, very specific to chiropractors.
3:09
Um, so yeah.
3:10
So as a nurse practitioner, I owned, uh, a couple practices myself, uh, mostly men's health, wellness-type practices.
3:17
And as I built those, I learned a lot of valuable skills doing it.

So, uh, I'm guessing that you would say you should have some idea where you want this thing to go as opposed to just, "Oh, hey, I think I'll try this and see what happens." Or no?
5:17
If somebody was thinking about doing a course, but they had zero audience, should they just pass or should they go ahead and try and build a course?
5:27
So I think that the appropriate way to do it is to build an audience.
5:31
So the way I teach people, the model that I teach is that Your goal is to build an audience first before you really start selling a course.
5:42
You can sell a course at the same time as you build the audience.
5:46
That's fine.
5:47
But most continuing education course businesses specifically, and really course businesses in general, most of the ones that succeed have a very large audience of people that actually enjoy their content.
6:01
And so the first course business that I started was called the Elite Nurse Practitioner.

What do you think, in your opinion, should most entrepreneurs in or out of CE, in or out of licensed professions, stop trying to scale their business and just go teach what they know?
