From the FM Kirby Foundation's perspective, Justin, what drew you to Alice as a focus area, and how does understanding Alice data change the way a funder thinks about where and how to fund?

As I mentioned, with our home here in Morris County, while I was not around when we first considered Alice as something to support, I have to guess that Again, it was something that spoke to something our grantees at that time were very much feeling.

I mentioned John being at the community soup kitchen right here in Morristown.

Clearly, the lines there told him that Alice was very real and even below the poverty level.

So it kind of cut against that idea of Morris County being a place where everyone's just doing great.

But in fact, there were a lot of people working really hard just to try to make it to the next paycheck and pay the next bill.

It certainly accorded with the grantees that we've been supporting for decades.
