What do you see the future of the role for people who have historically been, you know, testers and, you know, QA people?
9:19
Well, I would say that you're going to end up with a situation where obviously AI is able to generate those tests and we can do that in a governance model that ensures that it's not, you know, again, grading its own homework, if you will.
9:33
But there's an element of you have to be able to prove that those tests work.
9:39
are again driving the intent that we wanted from the software.

I think what's also stands out to me is that you have to have really like traceable reasoning, like why are we shipping things or making the decisions that we're actually making and being able to, as a QA engineer, to be able to very clearly articulate, hey, we made the decision to ship this software because of X, Y, and Z, or we decided not to do something because of X, Y, and Z.

And if you can document that and you can keep up and keep track of what changes you're actually making, why you're making those decisions, you've got that traceability now and that governance kind of layer that is going to be really critical on a go forward basis.
10:17
Being able to say, hey, an AI generated this test or a human generated this test or AI executed the test or a human executed these tests and just being able to add that level of of governance and control and ultimately just kind of reporting I think is incredibly important for people.

So is that progress, actually? I'm curious.
