Um, I found it interesting to look at the expectations of, like, protocols as, as you were putting it, or s- following certain rules, um, that were, that the university had told me to follow through the ethics process, as well as expectations and subtle expectations or explicit ones that were shared from community members when I was working with them.

So it sort of began with speaking first with the university to see if this was, uh, okay for me to include in my thesis, 'cause I wanted to interview people who were of all ages, uh, older in my community, as well as teenagers.
