I'm so grateful to be back on these familiar steps this morning.

And if I have not met you yet, my name is Julie Ellerbrock, and I serve over at our Gethsemane campus.

So I'd love to meet you following the service and invite all of you to come over to Gethsemane at any time and be a part of the community there.

So in the mid-90s, we lived in Dubai.

And there was a quick, always reminder of what it meant to live in the desert.

There was the moments where the heat would make a Houston summer seem mild, the sandstorms that would blow in, and no matter what I did, the entire house, every nook and cranny, would be filled with this fine layer of grit.
