Um, just, and I know we'll talk a lot about this, and I know that you've been through this as well, but it's really understanding first who you're gonna ask to tell your story that night.

Julianne ReedGUEST
So is it a video that you're gonna produce ahead of time that really communicates what the mission is? I think the most successful paddle raises I've seen really are when the, the mission is so keyed in and so on message and so on heart and on brand that everybody in that room can align with what you've said.

Julianne ReedGUEST
Uh, oftentimes they're very, very specific, even if, you know, you're, they're actually fundraising for general operating funds, which is trickier in the fundraising world to raise than it is to say, um, we're going to feed X number of, you know, families or with, with the dollars raised tonight.

Julianne ReedGUEST
So really the key part is deciding how you're gonna tell the story, who's gonna tell the story first.

Um, and that just, that hurts my heart for, for how much effort I know goes into some of these events.
