So tell us a little bit about the glasses that you're helping to develop.
13:18
Yeah.
13:19
So I've been lucky enough to work with a team of really amazing AI, AR architects on a product called CrossSense, which is a pair of smart glasses for people living with dementia.
13:32
So the aim is to help them live in their home for longer and enjoy life, living with the condition.
13:37
And the glasses really rely on this idea that if you boost the senses, you can also boost cognition.
13:44
You can boost thinking.
13:45
They've got a camera and they've got a mic and a speaker and they have an AI assistant.
14:45
LAUGHTER Even in the small trials that have been done so far, am I right in saying they assist with dementia, they don't reverse it or cure it?
20:10
How are they connected?
20:12
Back in twenty nineteen, I was contacted by a philanthropic agency that was interested in promoting research into misophonia, which is a kind of hatred of certain sounds like chewing and tapping.
20:23
At the time, there wasn't a lot of research.
20:26
So from that point onwards, I started to study misophonia.
20:30
And at the same time, completely coincidentally, my son fell ill.
20:35
He had a clutch of surprising symptoms.
20:39
He was suddenly incredibly thirsty.
23:44
Can you explain this and what it allows you to do?
