Julia, how did you get involved? And, uh, tell me more about this study.
4:27
Um, I started working with Nicholas, um, in twenty seventeen as a undergrad, and then we continued together through my PhD, and now we still collaborate as I moved away from the lab.
4:41
Um, but still I'm not really far.
4:43
And then I had a lot of interest in, um, childhood maltreatment and, and parenting, and specifically the parent-child relationship and really trying to understand the processes that are happening when people parent and the pro-- the predictors of attachment security, for example.
5:00
And, uh, got really fascinated when I started working with Nicholas about reflective functioning in general.
5:06
And so my own dissertation focused on attachment-based reflective functioning in the adult attachment interview, but really started working on, uh, this trauma-specific reflective functioning as well, and just thinking about the ways that we measure reflective functioning in general.
