Maybe you could just talk about that a little bit about how we're starting to become aware that these common ancestors, if you like, of human, th- the human race have something to teach us about how we live in any given ecosystem.

[lip smacks] Yeah.

Um, you know, my understanding is that the indigenous people had a much different relationship with nature, Mother Nature, than, than N- North- typical North American settlers.

And, uh, I, I think that they lived in a much greater harmony with their surroundings than we do.

Uh, we, um, settlers want to dominate.

Uh, we think that we're the top of the heap, and, and that's, you know, uh, not the way, uh, I think traditional indigenous values see the world.

And so we can learn a great deal from them.
