Dr. Juan Fortea, who is an editorial consultant with The Lancet, has been attending this conference for many years, and I caught him between sessions discussing this.

Juan ForteaGUEST
This conference once again confirmed that immunotherapy is working, that the approved drugs in real world are working and they are safe and that people are prescribing them following the criteria.

Juan ForteaGUEST
It's very reassuring to see the registry data very well aligned with what the clinical trials have demonstrated.

Juan ForteaGUEST
And I think that's very positive because if we continue in this path with good registries, we can foresee a future in which we can expand the use of these drugs.

Juan ForteaGUEST
Because one of the issues is that it's a small percentage of the population that can benefit from these drugs.

Juan ForteaGUEST
Personally, I envision a future that this can be like a stroke, that at the beginning it was very restrictive and down the road we might probably have a wider prescription and more people benefiting from it.

Juan ForteaGUEST
and the other thing is that it's not only immunotherapy i think that the other very big and strong data coming from a gene silencing and especially now i was especially excited about to see the cilia result no the the silencing of tau that you could have like a clinical benefit and also that a reduction in intel that was extremely exciting of course the primary were met because We didn't see a gene dose and we need to understand a bit more this caveat.
