And then we'll just kind of talk amongst ourselves.

Well, Thursday was the more dramatic vote.

From what I've learned, Naya was very much undecided as she went into the room.

And I think what the day's going on, we're going to be very.

Very critical for her.

And the fact that a lot of the, you know, raised fans showed up, you know, and this is what really I'm proud of is about 80 percent of those people who spoke or got, you know, are the Petermans, the people that listen to our show and took the time out of their day.

I'm curious, just giving your experience, where you see this going for the team, what it might mean for them on the field, and maybe just a branding perspective.

yeah yeah the uh the demolition of hillsborough college has already begun uh setting up the the nest which is going to be the the temporary quarters for the students, which will be, you know, will be an issue, but it's a short-term issue for a long-term gain.

You know, Mark, we, we, we've been doing this all our lives and, you know, people think that it's, you know, maybe there's other motivations, but when it comes down to it, we love our local sports, you know, and we love, we love our localities and where we live and we understand that, that sports is such a game changer in our lives.

And I've never seen a project like this that is ever more so.

It is going to generationally change people's lives through baseball.

And it's so much more than baseball, as you know, but I was just reflecting this morning about this 20-year odyssey and what it means not only to Tampa Bay but to people who just love baseball and how it brings families together and the great moments we've had at Tropicana Field that are now just going to continue for generations to come with our kids and our grandkids that we're able to take them to baseball and concerts and other things that are going to happen in this locale.

For me personally, Mark, it is It's I've been in this market for 30 years and it's developing those relationships over those years, decades long that bring these stories home.

Now that that area is booming and there's like three or four others, if they can continue to do what Tampa's done as a city, I think the sky's the limit for this area, JP.

Is the rest of the damn city council okay with it?

Well, here's the bottom line.

This is the dirty political side of all this.

And what we have now is we have a bunch of TSA members, or not a bunch, just a couple, Andy Scaglione in particular, who I know and is a friend of mine, and we've debated this, actually.

at the Rays game one night.

He's a local developer who has land in Ybor City that wanted this Rays stadium in Ybor City.

He wanted to be part of this Rays ownership group, and he wasn't invited.

I think Jacob Parrish, his timing is really good.

And you mentioned Antoine.

I think his timing's really, really good.

Then you've gotta, you gotta beat the f- the, uh, the running back usually-Right? To, uh, to get to the quarterback.

So there's a lot of, there's a lot of talent to it, there's a lot of nuance to it, and they, they've got a bunch of guys that can do it.

And when you've got guys that can do it well, and they're, and they're all on the field, and they're coming from different places, this brings the unpredicted- unpredictability with it.

... rubber-stamp this, even if it ends up changing immensely between now and the final decision on how the money's spent, you've pretty much tied the Rays to Tampa, right?

Um, I w- I was actually talking to Bill Cosgrove last night, one of the owners, at the game.

The first time I went to the Trop since it's reopened, and boys, let me tell you, it is a whole new ballgame.

It is completely different.

It is bright.

I mean, this is now another area in Tampa to go, and I think that part needs to be reflected as well, JP.
