But how has it been working with the reds, the blues, the greens, the whites and seeing how they change things and do things differently?

Joyce NetheryGUEST
Well, the heirloom varietals, they grow different than the GMOs and the other yellows that you see.

Joyce NetheryGUEST
When you go through, you know, driving around the countryside and you see a field of corn and all of the ears are nice and uniform on the stalk, they're all in the same location.

Joyce NetheryGUEST
All of the leaves are going up nice and neat and, you know, kind of going upright.

Joyce NetheryGUEST
And then the tassels are... kind of on the small side, that's telling you that might be a GMO corn.

Joyce NetheryGUEST
Well, our home farm where we still live is at the, we call it, I call it the foothills of some hills.

Joyce NetheryGUEST
But when I was out in Colorado, it's like kind of silly for me to say that because they've got actual mountains, and the top of the knobs is a, like, um, you know, 1,200 feet.

Joyce NetheryGUEST
And those hills, those Jeptha knobs were named by Squire Boone and Daniel Boone when they came in and explored Kentucky in the late 1700s.

Joyce NetheryGUEST
Um, they were attracted to those hills because there was a salt lick up there, so that's where the buffalo and the deer and the turkey were.
