When you hear Jean describe that first night, what are you thinking

about? What's your reaction? Well, I actually have never heard any of this before, so it's quite moving to be able to feel like I can be there with Jean, picture it.

And I had no idea you were so young when you performed the role.

And I think that's incredibly unique because now the role is predominantly performed by principal dancers who would still maybe be in their mid-20s at the youngest, but it's not typically, I'd say, a role that is often given to a corps de ballet member to begin as a principal.

So you were actually quite closer to the age of the character.

Yes.

And so there's something when you ask about what did she know, it's kind of the thing that's interesting about the character of Giselle is that she doesn't actually know anything about about what's happening to her because it's all so new.

But like, you know, maybe a full program rather than just like, you know, for a particular event.

That is still a little bit in question because I'm still finalizing the exact details of our repertoire for 26-27.

I can't speak about any of it because none of the contracts are signed, but there's some very exciting rep coming.

And for example, if this piece gets confirmed, then I need this many dancers.

And if that piece does not get confirmed, I need that many dancers because we're doing that thing.

We're in that point where it's not like we have 20 dancers and I'm going to do that piece and it's double cast.

It's like, if we're going to do this piece and it's eight dancers, we need two at least two covers or we need 12 people so we can have two casts or or whatnot so that will directly affect how many other people outside of my existing network of people who i know are already in the city are already working with us how many new people will come in i can confirm that the last show of our 26 27 season requires dancers that we currently do not have It requires a number of dancers that we currently do not have in any of the 25, 26 projects.
