Is there like any better approach or is again, I guess it really does depend.

One thing I'll jump in here and mention here regarding exercise selection and kind of this stimulus to fatigue ratio you mentioned, Adrianne, And maybe I'll pause there and quickly explain that theoretical stimulus to fatigue ratio for the listeners.
J
14:08Josh PellendGUEST
So from, like you said, any given set, you have a stimulus toward the adaptation or adaptations that you desire, but you also have fatigue alongside that.
J

And the idea of the stimulus to fatigue ratio is that you can potentially select exercises or different protocols that tip the scales towards stimulus and away from fatigue.
J
14:31Josh PellendGUEST
And I think this is a very, very useful concept, but the one thing that I'll say is that folks, uh, here, probably the best way to put it is the stimulus to fatigue ratio becomes more and more important if you're reaching your recovery capacity.

So if I have a general population client that, like you said, is just looking to get fitter, a bit more jacked, a bit stronger, and they have four hours per week to train.

we are probably not pushing super high up in terms of their recovery capacity.
