when we put, when we built the facility, uh, we had a lot of planning meetings, and we came at it from a lot of standpoints from obviously the student athlete experience, the coach experience, but then I wanted to come in as a, as a fan, as a parent, as a, as a meet officials.
2:31
I wanted the whole thing to flow and make sense, so we had a lot of input.
2:34
We had a lot of good debate and a lot of good thoughts about how to lay it out because obviously Oregon is a special, special place.
2:41
Love it.
2:42
Love that facility, and that is the mecca.

Right
15:04
What, what do they do now?
15:05
So what they're ...
15:05
What, what I would assume and what I'm hearing is they're gonna file an appeal immediately.
15:09
And I think that's ...
15:10
What's important to note is, um, as I understand it, and I'm not a s- legal scholar, but you gotta be careful with this injunction that this doesn't play out over a quarter, over six or seven months, so we get to the situation where, um, we have to go through a season and, and adjudicate this after the season.
15:24
That's why it's important for them to be able to appeal this right now.
15:27
And I think it's important as schools, as conferences, as others, everyone across the country, um, I'm in favor of a amicus brief being filed in support to show our support of this appeal for the NCAA so that, so it's known nationally that there's not a doubt where we stand on this.
18:08
... ad nauseam, it was kinda fun, man.
4:37
You're trying to get people to show up.
4:38
I think, you know, obviously viewership is strong in our league.
4:42
Tenants are strong.
4:43
The excitement's there.
4:45
I think there are some things that we still need to protect, and I think what's gotten lost in this transfer portal era is not, you know, when the teams turn over so much, the continuity.
4:56
It hurts the fans.
4:57
It hurts me because... you know i love seeing our student athletes progress from that freshman year to the senior year so you hate losing that but i think our fans are obviously enjoying the product but i do think one of the things we've talked about a little bit and i know the big ten uh they've come out talked about a little bit is how do we in this settlement could we carve out a way to where you could reward players for staying and kind of like the nba with the bird rights to where You're able to share more revenue with someone who stays and then not hit your cap as hard.
6:06
But how do you manage all that in this environment?
