... well, how in the world did this guy get here? I am very happy to say that I did serve as a local school board member in the state of Maryland for eight years, really spent a lot of time on the ground as Blueprint was being rolled out and discussed.

And it's certainly, you know, as time moves on, it's great to join the association that I also served with as a local board member, but also in different roles here at the association.

So it's really cool for me to, to be in this role as executive director.

A little bit more about the organization.

I mean, our organization, as you referred to, MABE, we're supporting and representing all 24 local boards of education in Maryland.

Our members are the locally elected and appointed board members who establish policy.
