Can you help us then with how that would be diagnosed? So, so, so suppose somebody comes to their GP or comes into one of our clinics, how could it be best be assessed and diagnosed?

Jose MediavillaGUEST
Uh, um, I think today we're gonna be talking about anxiety disorders, and in some ways we're lumping together quite a few different conditions.

Jose MediavillaGUEST
So we, we sometimes diagnose a generalized anxiety disorder, for example, when there are a number of f- uh, feared situations or, or, um, triggers for anxiety.

Jose MediavillaGUEST
Sometimes we talk about social anxiety disorder when the trigger is mostly in terms of social encounters, um, and social situations.

Jose MediavillaGUEST
Panic disorder, for example, when we have a child with panic attacks or specific phobias that are in relation to, uh, an object or a situation that is specific- uh, specifically feared.

Jose MediavillaGUEST
But for the sake of simplicity today, we're, we're, we're going to group them together as anxiety disorders.
