And a different background that anyone, you know, anyone else did it.
9:29
Yeah, I mean, it was in a point of clarification.
9:31
I was born in this country.
9:34
You know, half of there's four of us in our family.
9:36
Two of us were born in the US, two in Mexico.
9:39
It all depended the month.
9:41
you were born in dictated what country you were born in.
11:42
What did that pursuit, right? And that journey may have cost you along the way, right? And that basically the part of the stories were that is in the movie, right? Is there any specific challenges, right? That you remember that you had to go through?
17:50
Okay, so explain why that's so good for the, for SpaceX, for the space community, et cetera, and, and sort of what we're seeing here tonight.
17:57
Well, it's, it's good because, uh, you know, Blue Origin last, uh, mission failed and, um, and we wanna go back to the moon in, uh, in a year and a half or so, and this is the, uh, rocket that's gonna help us to get there.
18:11
We gotta get a lunar lander out there so our astronauts can actually l- land on the surface of the moon, and this is the vehicle that will probably take it up there
19:07
What's the timeline? I mean, like, we know that this is still years away, but it's not, it's not forever.
19:13
Yes.
19:13
I, I think, uh, next year Artemis IV is gonna be, stay in low Earth orbit, and they're gonna tr- do some docking with the lunar landers.
19:23
Hopefully Blue Origin has theirs ready.
19:25
Uh, SpaceX certainly will have theirs ready.
39:53
What is that gonna be like inside of that, and how do they prepare?
39:58
That's correct, Laura.
39:59
It's a bit sportier than coming down with a shuttle.
40:02
You come in with much more energy and, um, and you sort of do a, um, it's not a ballistic entry, but you sort of, uh, you skip the atmosphere a couple times before you come in, and you do that to bleed off energy.
40:16
And, uh, and, and you could kinda think of it as when you throw a rock in the water and it skips.
40:22
Uh, it's losing energy along the way, then it finally comes in.
40:25
And, uh, they're gonna pull four to six Gs on the way down, and then the parachutes are deployed.
43:31
What do you think?
