Yoris, like most people, was shocked at the results of the research.

So I expected that the heritability of Livestream would be a bit bigger than originally estimated when we really kind of would model it a bit better.
16:11
But I didn't expect it would jump from, say, 20% to almost 50%.
16:16
I think that the jump was, for me, the biggest surprise.
16:19
The fact that it was more heritable when we adjusted in the models, at least for extrinsic mortality, was not unexpected.
16:27
But the amount by which it jumped, that was actually quite surprising for me.
16:55
Is that something that could come into play here?

I think CRISPR editing is very valuable for specific genetic diseases where there is a mutation that you want to remove and that will give you later on the benefit, say something like sickle cell disease, or if you can do it at a specific location where it's important that a gene is restored.
