So how did the whole thing happen with you for this series, like with Sasha? Was that first the audition? Was this the role that you went for? Did you know what was happening? Because Disney tries to keep things a secret,

too.

So the first audition that rolled out for Covenant Academy was Briar.

At least that I know of.

So they had us all audition for Briar and me and Melina, as well as another girl, had made it to the chemistry reads for Briar.

And that's where we met Louis Thresher, a.k.a. Ollie, on the show.

and they had us like keep getting closer and closer in this moment and I was like oh my god because Louie's so sweet and I didn't know anything about these people and I'm a really shy person so I went home after that I was like oh I don't know if I got that but I was also the most nervous I had ever been in my entire life like I got flight anxiety that caused nausea like it was that crazy But anyways, I went back home and I did another Zoom read with them.

right right right so looking back in this season uh which sasha scene are you the proudest of that means to you means a lot to you do you remember

It's like a really chill conversation and I'm like,

That was literally me when I was trying to make it to the audition for this.

That was me.

I have a video of me in the car just going like this.

Because I had to vlog the process of me struggling to get to that chemistry read because I was like, I need to look back on this moment and just like sit and think about this because wow.

The fact that I even made it there, crazy.

I was like throwing up on the plane on the way to TSA.

so cute.

So what was that process like?

So it's a few things.

So I loved the powers.

I remember they said, like, do you have a vibe for like what you think your power looks like? I don't know how.

I guess I watched movies growing up where it was like super dystopian and superhero action vibes.

So I immediately came up with if Sasha is an intellectual and she's reading people's minds, I would assume he would go mind to mind, which is also a little Easter egg.

But that, along with the spells, oh my gosh, the spells were so funny to film.

Was there anything funny that happened off camera in your shooting process? No.

So I got to find that and post it.

Yeah, I had like somewhat of a similar experience where, you know, usually for a show, you have everyone audition for the lead first.

And so my first tape was for Briar as well.

I didn't really feel like I was right for her.

But, you know, you get tapes in and you're like, might as well just do it.

And so I did that.

And then I got a call back for Sasha.

And I think it's just a really awesome support system that we've created.

I'm

really excited to watch it with them and when it comes out to be able to see their reactions.

But my family is so supportive and it's so exciting.

And I love Halloween.

We're investigative reporters.

I started calling them all chickens, and then it kind of went into foods, and she was chicken stir-fry for a second, and then she...

Then it was chicken noodles.

It's also chicken nugget.
