Mm-hmm.

It, it's not something that I, that I'm running from.

It's, it's definitely a part of who I am.

But, but when you no longer wear the uniform or, or have the helmet and with the logo attached to it and you're transitioning into something else, there's a loss that I think that players, former players, or even anyone in corporate who've transitioned from corporate to launching their own business or moved to a new city or started a new relationship or pushed away from a relationship, business or personal, that it's been a, a descriptor of who you are as an individual.

So moving away from Jordan Babineaux the football player to Jordan Babineaux of what's next required me to shed a lot of those attributes and skills and or even persona that made me successful in that arena and was required of me.

I needed to be abrasive.

I needed to exude confidence.

Mm.

... than to hear your name called on draft day.

Now, two kids coming from Port Arthur, Texas, you couldn't have told us anything different, and I don't think it would've mattered because, you know, that purpose was, was so ingrained in whatever it took.

And obviously, you know, with a little help and luck and success and the help of a higher power greater than bo- both of us, we were able to, to make that work.

And so this .023% of making it to the NFL, and here I am out of Southern Arkansas University, Division II college football career, having an opportunity to come into the Seahawks training camp as an undrafted free agent.

Oh, it was the start of everything.

I was super excited, and I'm telling you, Paul, there was no way in hell I was going back to Port Arthur, Texas.
