I mean, Jonty, as we're watching it from the UK and what you're writing and everything else, the NBA is a great brand, but surely it's a brand that is only enriched when the Knicks are doing well.

Jonty ColemanGUEST
if you ask someone who doesn't follow basketball or is a very casual fan to name as many teams as they could, and they could probably only name three, four, five, I'd be willing to wager that the New York Knicks are one of them.

Jonty ColemanGUEST
And I think that's probably what makes this so surprising is you always think of the Knicks as a big club and they are.

Jonty ColemanGUEST
And I think that's, it does feel like it's just, it's kind of been just waiting for it to happen.

Jonty ColemanGUEST
There was probably never a question of was it ever going to happen again? I think it was just, an inevitable given the size of the support given the size of sort of their their franchise their reach you know not just not just in New York and in the US but you know globally as well this felt this just feels inevitable and it's not a it's not I think the biggest surprise is perhaps this year just especially in the last two rounds with playoffs like they've absolutely cruised their way here and i think when when we sort of talk about it in a minute you know their chances of winning this one thing you do have to give them is you know they've not had to come through the last two rounds they've not had to come through grueling series you know they've cruised they've they've bought themselves extra time off they've bought themselves that extra preparation and And yeah, I think it is just, it's such a surprise to sort of casual and sort of people who have like a vague interest in the NBA that it's taken this long for the Knicks to get to where they are.

Jonty ColemanGUEST
Whereas, you know, for those watching, you know, pre-Brunson, as Jonathan said, you know, you're waiting for that bright spark, but especially the last few years, just looking at Jalen Brunson and the players around him,
