I mean, were they just younger consumers now, and it's just younger consumers in general in coffee shops? Or was it a more of a older consumer back then?

Jonathan RubinsteinGUEST
then?Uh, I would say that the youth is embracing Joe Coffee, but we do have to work for it harder than we used to.

Jonathan RubinsteinGUEST
A-as an example, I'm sure many of your listeners know Blank Street, which at this point really seems to be a leader in innovation and really seems to be a place that the true youth, the high school, college, twenties crowd really sort of gravitates to.

Jonathan RubinsteinGUEST
And I think a lot of that is because of social media as this incredible marketing tool.

Jonathan RubinsteinGUEST
But what we're starting to find as well, and this may be more anecdotal, is people over a certain age, and I'm gonna make this up and say 40, are drinking more of this hot, pure menu.

Jonathan RubinsteinGUEST
But this emerging larger audience of high school to maybe 40, certainly high school through their teens and twenties, do seem to be more adventurous in what they drink, more interested in non-caffeine, uh, and non-coffee beverages, and much more interested in interesting flavor combinations that, you know, I think really speak to the palates that they are developing now and the kinds of flavors that they're excited about.

Jonathan RubinsteinGUEST
They don't know necessarily what coffee was 23 years ago, and the truth is, that may not even be relevant.

Geoffrey YoungHOST
When you're thinking about, you know, what consumers would like in your team, you know, where do you get that inspiration from? And then how long do you know until, uh, this product's gonna be a seller? Is it, is it instantaneously?
