It was a small church that had a lot of debt, and so John Mark learned a lot of leadership that had to be done there, but learned a lot about fundraising there.

[laughs] We, we had to raise a lot of money at that little church just to, just to make everything work.

And so I was there for seven years, and it's really just such an exciting chapter of my life.

Just love, love those seven years when I think about them and just, uh, excited about everything God did during that time.

But, but that really stretched me and grew me as a leader really significantly and specifically.

And then just, uh, as a part of my journey, we've always had family out in the Phoenix, Arizona area, and so we always thought if, if God would open a door to some ministry stuff out here, we'd be open to relocating.
