All right, so what do you make of today's comments by the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council?

Jonathan HessenGUEST
But we've gotten used to this regime that for so many years now has called death to America, death to Israel, 49 years of obsession.

Jonathan HessenGUEST
And, you know, this Supreme National Security Council secretary is nothing less than trying to town the United States down.

Jonathan HessenGUEST
They themselves don't really know what they can do at a time when their economy is crippled.

Jonathan HessenGUEST
I mean, the United States has, through U.S. Central Command, brought about really a hermetic blockade that has put the Iranian regime on the process of choking into submission.

What happened in Lebanon? Let's just start with the attacks and, and, and kind of what's going on in the land of, of the cedars.

Jonathan HessenGUEST
Uh, Iran clearly sees the, uh, various exchanges between Hezbollah and the IDF as, uh, a point that, uh, works to its advantage, leverage to try and force Israel to withdraw from Lebanese territory, and by doing so also diminishing the validity that the government in Beirut, the Lebanese government that is, is trying to secure the disarmament of Hezbollah and the reassertion of sovereignty over the whole territory of Lebanon.

Jonathan HessenGUEST
So what we've seen overnight is yet again another cycle of both unmanned aerial systems being launched towards Israeli troops operating in, uh, Lebanese territory, southern Lebanese territory, as a buffer between Hezbollah and the northern communities of Israel.

Jonathan HessenGUEST
They have launched Kornet missiles as well as other type of munitions at IDF troops, not conducting offensive operations, but rather making sure, again, to secure the northern communities of Israel.

Jonathan HessenGUEST
Unfortunately, in this context, we had a devastating night in which four IDF troops, including the commander of the 52nd Brigade, um, lost their lives in, in action.

Jonathan HessenGUEST
So, uh, this is a, uh, very tough situation that Israel cannot just stand idly by and accept.

But when we look at the, the terms of this ceasefire, is there a structure to hold Hezbollah to account? And, and I think maybe secondly, is there any ruling that suggests in any way that Israel's, um, current position in Southern Lebanon is illegitimate or a violation of the ceasefire?
