Well, you know, that's not something they teach you in seminary, clearly.

Dad passed away on a Tuesday, May 15th of 2007, so that coming following Sunday, May the 20th, uh, was a day that, uh, I, I knew was going to be a, a difficult day.

I knew that I had to step into that, uh, pulpit at that time.

Again, I'd been preaching the early service, and so, uh, you know, we were gonna have a service, and, and it was left to me to step in and to lead that day.

And on that Saturday night, the night before, I was at my house with my wife, Sherry, and with Charles Billingsley, who was our worship leader, and we were sitting there that night late into the night, probably 11 o'clock, even past midnight.
