I, I could find a story that I love and say, "Can I fit it into this Carpenter, Cronenberg, like, modern domestic sadness and weirdness, surrealist acid horror," as I call it, "aesthetic?" And once I found ones that fit, then it, it just kind of became easier and easier with each, each adaptation because then, like, um, as somebody that, that grew up reading so much of, of horror literature, like, I s- I love horror literature from, like, the late 1800s, early 1900s.
