So I'm curious, you know, how you got into this? Why social clubs? Tell us about about that.
1:21
Well, thank you for asking.
1:22
And it's a pleasure to be here.
1:24
So I never thought about social clubs myself.
1:29
I think it's 17 years ago, I fell, well, no, maybe longer.
1:32
But approximately 20 years ago, I fell in love with playing ping pong as a like, I guess a 30 year old.
1:39
And so that's a bit late to start like obsessing over ping pong.

22:31
I mean, are you raising money to do this? I got to start with my wife
1:57
That's incredible.
1:58
And so I've learned that business, um, which I never expected, but, uh, the hospitality, um, food and beverage, um, and then ping pong really specifically.
2:08
Uh, so now this is, you know, a new chapter for me in evolution, I think, of what I've learned in most of the projects that I've been involved with for my life.
2:18
So I'm excited.
2:18
I mean, at the same time, I will be the first to admit that this idea could seem or sound, you know, really stupid.
2:25
Uh, initially when I was like, "I'm doing this.
2:29
This is happening," um, the, the common reaction was, "Well, there's not enough little people to support the, the bar, this social club as a business.
4:31
But it's, it's, it's so cool that you're able to connect with somebody who it sounds like the two of you really are working to build something that is inclusionary for all, but also really catering to a population who maybe aren't having a social club that easily reflects, uh, who they are or what, what they're looking for.

I guess what insights or what things is she particularly excited about as you're all embarking on this?
20:30
Um...
20:31
Well, so I have a quote of hers on our website, but I mean, using her words, she likes that the simple convenience of this environment being designed that isn't inconvenient for her.
20:48
And so she's perfectly...
20:50
OK, adapting to the world's sizes of buildings, including her own house, which is super inconvenient.
20:58
And so she loves that.
21:00
And she also is British, so she can appreciate like sort of old school British clubs, social clubs and stuff.

And it's just fun to hear you talk about that.
