I f-find, I find optimism in people that are protecting the natural world when no one is watching, and this, this includes both, uh, indigenous wisdom, but also the scientists, uh, some of which have been fortunate to be highlighted by the media.
14:23
Uh, but the bigger percentage of people that are actually doing a lot of work often do not get the, the, the media attention.
14:30
So yeah, for, for me, it would be people, and it almost sounds like an o-oxymoron because it's, it's still the same people that have caused, um, incredible damage to the natural world, yet they also hold a lot of power to, to, to, to provide solutions.
14:47
As I talk about people, I also think about the, the, the, the energy and commitment of the youth, 'cause it feels like the, the youth of this day, uh, much as the, the, the, there is quite a lot of distraction, it's, it's like quite a lot is taking their attention in terms of, like, social media, TikTok and what.
15:05
Uh, but they seem to still be passionate about things to do with the natural world, and they are demanding for, uh, things to be done, especially, uh, from their politicians.

20 years from now, Jonathan, when people look back at your body of work, what do you hope they'll say Jonathan Benaiah contributed to the storytelling world? And not just to storytelling, but to conservation and to Africa's relationship with its natural heritage.
