I know the stock answer is I don't take anything for granted, but you've got to be optimistic.

What do you foresee if this happens?

Senator Ossoff, if Democrats take the US House in November, would you support a push to impeach President Trump? And if so, would you vote to convict him?

Well, Greg, in my view, based upon the evidence I've seen thus far, the president's misconduct, abuse of power, and corruption already exceed any prior standard for impeachment.

If the US House does send us articles of impeachment, then I'll consider them on the merits as a juror in the Senate.

It's worth reminding everybody.

that while you pay more for everything when it costs more than any time in American history to power your home, stock your fridge, fill up your truck because of the tariffs Mike Collins voted for, because of the war Mike Collins continues to defend, because of the healthcare cuts he voted for.

According to Georgia's Department of Public Health, 87% of pregnancy-related deaths here in our state between 2020 and 2022 could have been prevented So, Senator Ossoff and Congressman Collins, if either of you are elected, how much funding will you commit to securing for direct maternal care here in Georgia, and by what deadline? Senator Ossoff?

I just wonder when you read that and you're thinking about everything going on, what's happening in the campaign, what went through your head?

Well, it sounds like the West Wing staff right now is mostly doing child care.

I mean, they're having to coddle the toddler president who is staring at imminent rebuke of historic magnitude.

And it is deeply dangerous to have a president so delusional and so surrounded by sycophants and yes, people who just tell him what he wants to hear.

And indulge his every delusion.

That's most of the Trump administration.

He has selected for people who make him feel good about himself and who help him to construct this palace of lies.

They lied us into war and spent most of the last year covering up for the world's most famous pedophile.

What are you hearing from voters, especially voters as we approach Election Day?

And let me tell you one of the things driving that record turnout.

You know, Donald Trump's attacks on voting rights have been focused on Georgia over the last decade.

His call to Brad Raffensperger, demanding that Georgia's secretary of state, quote, find him precisely the number of votes that he needed to win in a state that he had lost.

His obsession with overturning the result here in Georgia.

Does the presidential buzz bother you or does it let you know that you're connecting with voters even beyond the state of Georgia?

Our first guest tonight, Georgia Senator John Ossoff, in his campaign for reelection, has been taking voters on a tour of Donald Trump's Russian interests.

While the world burns, in Washington and at Mar-a-Lago, it's a spectacle of graft unprecedented in American history.

Now maybe you saw Trump so desperate he's begging Putin for diesel.

But listen to this.

At the very same time, The White House is brokering the sale of billions in Russian energy assets to people who fund the Trump family and the Trump campaign.

We're talking oil fields, refineries, gas stations all over the world to be sold to the first family's cronies in a deal brokered and backed by the US government.

Y'all remember Jared Kushner? The president's son-in-law, the so-called special envoy? responsible for diplomacy with Russia and in the Middle East? Do you remember the other special envoy, Steve Witkoff, who co-founded the president's crooked crypto business, World Liberty? Okay, so follow me through on this.

So Donald Trump is saying that, yes, you can call Vladimir Putin a humanitarian for letting someone out of prison after keeping that person in prison for four years and torturing him and killing children while he was at it.

And what should the folks of Georgia know about this election, particularly given the focus that the Donald Trump administration has placed on it that really emphasizes, again, you got to go vote?

Well, thanks again for having me.

And look, we've built up a lot of momentum in Georgia and I have well served the state for the last six years, broadened and deepened the coalition that's behind me.

And the public has turned against the Trump administration.

It has never cost more in American history to fill up your truck, to power your home, to stock your fridge, to buy school supplies for your kids or go to the doctor.

People have seen their health care cut.

People have seen hospital services closed down.

Has there been any conversation in that space? How do you see it?

I'm trying to get

them to understand why it's important.

Because they want jobs from Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has appointed them to these roles.

And You cannot in Donald Trump's presence say that he lost the 2020 election.

He's still obsessed with overturning the result.

He's still obsessed with his conspiracy theories about 2020.

Yeah, but I want to put, I want to like,

[laughs]

I mean, y- you heard from, uh, the, the truck driver featured in, in that video, and I hear it every day from folks in south Georgia, middle Georgia, metro Atlanta, in the mountains, folks involved in agriculture, folks in every industry.

Uh, the, the public is turning against this administration, and th- they, they see on the one hand the total incompetence.

The nation plunged recklessly into a war that they don't know how to win or to end, a global energy crisis, record-high diesel prices, record-high prices for healthcare.

It costs more today than ever before in our country's history to fill up your truck, to stock your fridge, to power your home.

And then everybody can see that at the same time, the first family's raking in billions of dollars from all over the world, the president's adorning his office in gold.

People are fed up, and they've had enough.

What is new tonight that you're reporting, that you're telling us?

Like, are you willing to say, "We have to end it, and even if that costs us in a strategic sense"?

The war needs to be brought to an end.

The war should be brought to an end on terms that are as favorable as they can be for the United States, bearing in mind that this was a massive strategic blunder that has set us back strategically.

And it would take immense diplomatic skill for someone as incompetent as Marco Rubio, who is dual hatted as the Secretary of State and the National Security Advisor, to salvage this situation.

We have squandered our munitions stockpile.

We're hemorrhaging global credibility.

The Iranian population is rallying around the Iranian regime.

Um, why did you, why did you vote the way you did early on, and what were your conversations with your constituents like about that vote?

Were you, were you at all surprised that he didn't try to create more room between himself and some of Trump's more unpopular policies?

Jen, thanks again for having me.

Uh, and no, I wasn't surprised because, bless his heart, Mike doesn't have too much of a mind of his own.

He's been doing the president's bidding thoughtlessly now for a year and a half, and it's my constituents and folks across the country who are suffering with record high diesel prices crushing families across Georgia and crushing Georgia agriculture, folks paying double what they used to pay for health insurance, groceries through the roof, coffee up 30%, ground beef up 30%.

Mike Collins continues to defend all of this because, remember, Mike Collins relies on Donald Trump's political support to remain viable in this race.

And I do need to remind people, I'm glad that we're feeling confident, I'm glad that we have this momentum, but there's no path back to the Senate majority without defending this seat in Georgia.

It remains the country's pivotal battleground state.

Yeah.

In a recent campaign speech, Jon Ossoff said this

An hour up the road from here is St. Mary's Hospital in Livonia.

It's in Mike's district, and they just closed their maternity unit, citing the Medicaid cuts Mike Collins voted for in order to fund tax cuts for the rich.

Boo.

So now, thanks to Mike Collins, delivering mothers Mike Collins represents have to drive an hour in labor to get to a labor and delivery unit.

Boo.

In a state where we've already lost 21 hospitals in 20 years, where life expectancy, if you're born today in the state of Georgia, is shorter than if you were born today in Lebanon.

What is your reaction to, uh, uh, the speaker of the House saying that the Republican plan for the next two years is to do exactly what they've been doing?

Today, John Ossoff demanded that Republican Congressman Mike Collins of Georgia release all of the communications between his office and what Senator Ossoff calls the most notorious white supremacists in the country.

It's been months since the partial communications between Mike Collins' office and some of the most notorious white supremacists in the country leaked and became public.

And we learned from those leaked communications that the congressman's office sought to intervene on behalf of a prominent Holocaust denier.

and briefed some of the nation's most notorious white supremacists on those efforts.

Included in that correspondence between one of the congressman's top aides and this group of white nationalists was Nick Fuentes, one of the most notorious white nationalists in the United States, and Richard Spencer.

So let me again review those facts.

Senator Ossoff, I want to begin, first of all, with what you were saying today about what you have found in Mike Collins' office, trafficking and their attempts to assist white supremacists in every way that they can.

What do you say to his scandals and his accusations? And what do you say to Georgians in terms of who they vote for?

Yeah.

And let me let me talk about Mike Collins for a second.

Then we'll talk about apathy and the importance of the election.

You know, I said scandal pinata because it's like with Mike Collins, every time you shake him, more misdeeds fall out.

And it is tragic that in the state of Georgia, in the year 2026, a basic question in this Senate race is essentially, does white nationalism belong in the United States Senate? What Georgians deserve is a policy debate on skyrocketing healthcare costs, on this warmongering in the Middle East, driving up the price of gas, getting people killed, undermining our national security, on the tariff chaos that's driving up the price of just about everything.

Instead, we have in Congressman Mike Collins, somebody with extensive ties to white nationalism and neo-Nazi ideology.

You need to get us in there to do the job.

Isn't it? So with Trump in charge, Republicans in Congress following his lead on everything he's saying about it all, what can he actually do here? Well, this weekend, Georgia Democrat Jon Ossoff, a person I think who actually knows how AI tools work and has actually thought about it, had a few ideas.

Tech titans dig bunkers while warning us the new intelligence they're creating risks human extinction.

Congress debates youth sports, and the president builds a ballroom.

An ancient establishment barely capable of email sleepwalks into a technological revolution while the president dismantles precautions and calls us fools for worrying.

A capable president would move swiftly to secure and reassure the American people, rush inspectors into frontier labs, fortify the nation against bioterrorism, demand legislation from Congress, and lead the world toward an AI treaty.

But President Trump is compromised.

A capable Congress would engage every committee in investigation and legislation to act swiftly and wisely.

Donald Trump Jr. has a central role in Jon Ossoff's depiction of Trump family corruption.

Just listen to this.

Five days after his father was reelected, Prince Don Jr. becomes a partner at 1789 Capital, a venture firm founded by right-wing activists and Trump donors.

1789 Capital then buys a stake in Vulcan Elements, a tiny startup that says it plans to produce the high-tech magnets needed in drones, missiles, and satellites.

And about a month after Don Jr.'s venture firm buys its stake in Vulcan Elements, Pentagon officials learn that Peter Navarro, a convicted criminal, Don Jr.'s close friend, and a top White House official, wants the Pentagon to give your tax dollars to Vulcan Elements.

One Pentagon official said, quote, "The call came from the White House.

We have to get this done." And Athens, to be clear, getting this done means funneling your money to the president's son's investment.

He says, "The AI hoax being perpetrated by the radical left Democrats is reminiscent of their global warming scam of not so long ago, where everyone was going to die from extreme heat." What happened? Uh, Senator Ossoff, you want to respond to Donald Trump on that?

In that same speech in Atlanta on Sunday, Senator Ossoff, to the outrage of the Trump White House, said this.

They've lied nonstop about this war like they lie about everything, and they know they're lying, but they lie, and they keep lying anyway because in this White House, they view persistence in deceit as a virtue.

Yeah.

[crowd cheering] You hear me, Atlanta? Yep.

And there's something uniquely despicable- Preach ... about lying a nation into war.

Yeah.

[crowd cheering] Treating citizens as fools, and those who serve as pawns.

Is, is that what you're doing? Or are you just trying to communicate to those, uh, voters, uh, what this is all about?

Wh- why'd you decide to invoke Natalie Harp specifically in that speech?

speech?Well, Jen, thank you for having me, and, and here's the point.

We're in wartime.

The commander-in-chief has mired us in this geopolitical disaster.

People have lost their lives, our naval logistics are frayed, the global energy system is in crisis, and he retreats into this bubble of West Wing aides who are his security blanket to make him feel good about himself, to reassure him that he's doing a great job, to help him while he designs his new ballroom, and he adorns the Oval Office in gold and picks the interior decorations on this new luxury flying palace he received from a foreign prince, when every single minute of every single day, what the President of the United States should be doing is bearing his most solemn burden of care for the sailors and marines and aviators and all service members deployed on his orders on the basis of his lies to this disaster in the Middle East.

And just like the West Wing is full of sycophants who tell him what he wants to hear and enable him, so is the United States Congress, Republicans in the House and Senate who still lack the spine to tell this president what he doesn't want to hear.

And one of those is Congressman Mike Collins here in Georgia, the pro-war, pro-tariff, pro-cutting your healthcare, bigot congressman Trump puppet who wants a six-year term in the United States Senate.

But what did you think wh- when you first heard those comments?

Well, as we watch Mike Collins self-destruct on the campaign trail, let's remember who Mike Collins is.

He's pro-war, he's pro-tariff, he's pro cutting your healthcare, and he's been mired in scandal since the moment he secured the Republican nomination over his widely reported ties to neo-Nazi and white nationalist ideology.

I mean, this is the same congressman, remember everybody a couple of weeks ago, who fled from the press in an open field, literally ran away from a press conference rather than answer a question he still hasn't answered, which is whether his business hired and paid the neo-Nazi propagandist who produced his business's promotional material.

This is the same congressman whose office was briefing Nick Fuentes, Richard Spencer, and some of the most notorious white supremacists in the United States about his office's efforts on behalf of a Holocaust denier, and he still refuses to release all of those communications.

And you heard this week he wants to take taxpayer dollars and pay it out to the traitors and thugs who sacked the United States Capitol on January 6th.

What he is saying to the people of Georgia is after cutting their healthcare, throwing 300,000 of them off their health insurance, doubling health insurance premiums for more than a million Georgians, he's then gonna take their tax dollars and pay it out to violent criminals.

What do you, what do you make of that news, and, and what's your reaction been to this story in general?

I don't think there is bipartisan support to give Pete Hegseth additional slush fund money for misadventures overseas and this administration's failed foreign policy, and his testimony yesterday lacked credibility and was not persuasive to anybody.

I, I do wanna note, you mentioned that Mike Collins was not present for the president's rally in Georgia today, and the conservative paper, the Washington Examiner, uh, was, uh, writing that this actually gave Donald Trump cover to avoid having to address Mike Collins' scandals.

Because we've learned in recent weeks that Mike Collins' office was briefing Nick Fuentes and other prominent white supremacists on its efforts on behalf of a prominent Holocaust denier, and that Mike Collins has had a neo-Nazi propagandist based on his property, and still now, a week after that CNN reporting, refuses to answer whether he or his business or his campaign or his office have paid this neo-Nazi propagandist.

Mike Collins needs to come out and hold a press conference tomorrow.

He needs to address the press and the public in the state of Georgia, and he needs to come clean, and it's a question that Georgians deserve an answer to.

Has he been paying this neo-Nazi propagandist, and is this neo-Nazi propagandist still based on Mike Collins' property?

What do you think should be dug into about this? Do you-- What questions do you have about it?

Careful clinicians studying this patient, Trump, like Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff, were able to tell us nine hours before the event what was gonna happen tonight.

Here's what's gonna happen tonight.

The world's most famous sore loser will deliver a primetime presidential sour grapes address to pursue his six-year-old grievances about the 2020 election while his war in the Middle East spirals out of control and the cost of living continues to rise for Americans across the country.

It's Donald Trump who tried to defraud Georgia voters in that election, Donald Trump who tried to commit election fraud when he called Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, and it was caught on tape, and you should play the tape for your viewers today, and badgered and bullied Georgia's top election official to, quote, "find him the votes" that he needed to win in a state where he had lost.

How did you do it? How did you figure out what Donald Trump was gonna say tonight?

Do, do you know if he plans to talk about you and W- Warnock?

I don't know.

Uh, but i- if there's one person who committed election fraud in Georgia, it's Donald Trump when he dialed up our state's senior most election official, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, and tried to bully him in a recorded phone call to, quote, "find" the exact number of votes Donald Trump needed to win in a state that he had lost.

I, I expect tonight's speech to be equal parts pathetic and dangerous.

I think we will hear from the world's most famous sore loser a prime time presidential sour grapes address reheating debunked conspiracy theories about an election in which he was soundly defeated.

And I think he'll also potentially selectively declassify information or cherry pick various pieces of evidence to lay the groundwork for whatever kind of meddling he wants to attempt this year or to try to discredit the results when he's dealt a resounding defeat in the midterm elections.

Um, what's your, what's your thought on this?

That's not surprising because just recently Collins' office, his congressional office, was briefing prominent white supremacists like Nick Fuentes on Collins' office efforts on behalf of a prominent Holocaust denier.

Put aside the notion that the president has any power to declare sitting U.S. senators illegitimate.

Yeah, he does not.

But here's what's amazing to me.

In Georgia, people are furious at this administration and not just Democrats because it's so clear the president doesn't care about the economic pain Americans are feeling.

And he cares about himself lining his own pockets, building a ballroom.

after having campaigned on this idea that he was going to focus on regular issues that impact Americans like rent and housing and groceries, was handed on a silver platter, a housing bill, that his own party had advanced, bipartisan, but his own party had participated in advancing that bill, refused to sign it because he wanted to instead use it as a hostage to again try and pass a law that would ultimately just be a federal takeover of elections?
