W- who do you see him playing with this year as of right now?

Yeah.

I was trying to do that on my show, um, you know, shortly after they got him.

They got some options, which is nice because, you know, last season you're seeing guys like, you know, in the top six you've got, like, Connor Sherry there and, uh, Johnny Brodzinski and Taylor Raddysh.

And, like, nothing against any of those players, but I just don't see them as, like, bona fide top sixers.

Now, I mean, you've actually got some different choices you can go with.

Um, I don't really wanna break up the line, if I can help it, of, uh, Gabe Proulx, Mika Zibanejad, and Alexis Lafrenière because the three of them, after the Olympic break playing together, uh, they were on fire.

What do you think happens? And if the Rangers move him, what are they looking for in return?

So, uh, what went wrong in year number two, and how much of that do you put on the head coach?

Just about everything went wrong, so I'll, I'll get to that in just a second.

But I'll actually there answer the second question first.

With Laviolette, I, I mean, look, nobody's blameless in a season like that, right? When you go from President's Trophy winners and two wins shy of making it to the Stanley Cup Final, and then you completely fall apart the next season, the effort is really lacking, uh, far too often, and you miss the playoffs entirely.

Uh, everybody from the owner to the GM to the coaches or the players, um, they all have a hand in that a- and Laviolette certainly bears some responsibility.

But as I said, as that season was unfolding and everything was falling apart and everything was a mess, uh, I put less blame on Laviolette than probably anybody else involved with this.

Because Chris Drury during, and keep in mind, this is a season after, once again, they won the President's Trophy.

Uh, do you see Zibanejad or Trocheck possibly being moved? Uh, and, and just what is the likelihood that, that that happens and, and do you think LA could be a trade partner with the Rangers once again?
