And fast-forwarding a little bit, once Interop was live within your organization, what changed for the teams at the bedside?
9:35
I think one of the biggest benefits that our bedside clinicians saw was a reduction in manual labor, so that comes from a couple of different avenues.
9:44
First, manually programming a smart pump is highly error-prone, right? We are, we are not, uh, agnostic to the fact that smart pump errors happen, and they can be very severe.

It doesn't help when you necessarily push an extra zero or miss a decimal point.

So reducing those manual keystrokes was huge for our bedside teams.

On the other side, this also helped to reduce documentation timing, so our bedside clinicians got time back to truly spend with the patient instead of spending that time with a computer or with technology.
10:19
I think that there's, uh, two sides to every coin though, so that did drastically change our nursing workflow.

What does it take to sustain a program or these implementations after the go live?
