Sorry, other countries, EU or other places, that you think we can adopt and incorporate here, besides, uh, the law that addresses AI manipulation of human behavior? Any other best practices?
23:06
I think the most important part that if you are able to follow is actually AI labeling.
23:10
So when it comes to AI labeling t- By the way, just like in order for the smoke, uh, I mean, in order for to buy cigarette, so they'll be, um, labeling saying that, "If you take these products, um, you understand the risk, which is gonna cause you cancer or, um, whatever, whatever form of health effect as well." Then similarly, if I'm able, if I'm going to actually consume your content, if I'm able to actually purchase a product because of your copywriting, and then if throughout the whole process you do understand that, um, you're actually going to utilize AI to, in any form or shape, to actually manipulate me or to influence my decision, especially imagine I'm actually, um, the vulnerable groups.

Mm.
29:32
So actually one of the companies that we, that we have been advising and also a trend that we are seeing, they're certainly getting a lot of traction right now is, which is true, more and more companies, they are actually deploying different kind of AI tools for them to actually reduce the workload of the HR department, and so to decide which particular candidates should be interviewed or should be able to get a job.
29:52
And when it comes to this, uh, AR, HR tool, of course, uh, we are not going to discount the effectiveness and also the efficiency, but you are absolutely right, Elaine, that fundamentally depending on the AI tools and how is it being built, they may actually quietly, uh, discriminate or they tend to be biased.
4:29
Mm.
4:29
Number one is the credit worthiness.
4:31
They want to ensure that are you actually credit worthy enough for me to provide you, um, the particular credit.
4:36
Number two, they actually want to conduct, they call it the affordability assessment.
4:41
Ultimately, in very simple layman terms, it's actually for me to actually understand before any companies is to provide you with any credit, do you actually have the ability for you to actually make the repayment obligations?
4:52
Mm.
4:52
So the law, they make it very clear.
4:54
So for example, before any buy now, um, buy now, pay later provider offers any credit, they have to ensure that the consumer is not insolvent, the consumer actually has the ability for them to repay.
