10:45
And John, I'm wondering if we're still experiencing a hangover from, uh, the release of USDA's big WASDE report on Friday.
10:53
Yes, most definitely, CJ.
10:55
We've got, uh...
10:55
Now, we did have corn finish, uh, seven cents off the low, and, uh, now we're 13 cents off the low from Friday.
11:02
So there's a little bit of good news in there, but that corn yield and production number was just too much for the trade to handle.
11:09
It's just too big of an increase, and that comes on top of a September 30th stocks number that was sharply higher than trade expectations.
11:16
So it's, it's been rough for corn, and, uh, now we're getting into the gut slot of harvest.
11:37
I'm wondering if that's having a major impact on these markets as well.
10:34
Hmm
10:34
... facilities, export facilities up, refineries.
10:37
Um, it's gonna be difficult.
10:39
This will be the most difficult year, I believe, to date for Ukraine to get their, uh, corn exported, and Europe needs it, and, uh, who's gonna fill the gap? So I, I think there could be some surprises there.
10:53
And, uh, we'll have to wait and see.
10:55
I'm a little more concerned about soybeans.
10:57
We've got, uh, we're gonna have some damage, and, uh, we have a lot of discoloration.

7 MINS LATER

17:36
And I'm thinking, "Well, that's a little far away, so what's it gonna take for me to load the truck and fill it with diesel?" You know? So, I mean, but you, could you see some opportunities where, uh, it could be in, anytime, you know, in the next few months where, wow, someone's gonna need supply in a hurry?
12:10
Thoughts on what impact those reports may have had?
12:13
Not a lot.
12:15
Uh, corn 53.8, that's a decent number for this time of the year.
12:18
In fact, uh, you know, just adds to the first, uh, four weeks.
12:22
Uh, right now the first five weeks are The best in history.
12:27
Uh, I think we have to go back to 2016-'17 for the previous one, and, uh, so even higher than last year, which obviously turned out to be a spectacular record.
12:36
So no complaints there.
13:40
Will we likely see some pressure from that with the expected intensifying of harvest activity?
